Cloth wears out at the break spot, along the top rail under people's hands, and at the pocket mouths. Once one goes the rest is rarely far behind.
It is the only visit where the slate is uncovered, and the one job that never has to pass through the gate at all, because nothing leaves the room.

Which cloth, and what dry air does to everything else.
- Woollen has a nap and runs slower, forgiving where the standard varies.
- Worsted is smooth and fast, the league surface. Balls carry further than most expect.
- Colour is yours: dark hides chalk, light shows wear sooner.
- Here the frame and the rail bolts are worth checking while the bed is bare, because dry timber shrinks and bolts work loose long before cloth wears out.
- Rubber can go on at the same visit, and should if the cushions return dead.

What finished looks like
Here at Premier Pool Table Service we guarantee all our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your pool table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your pool table service is completed.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. There is a $30 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday. There is an additional cost of $30 if we need to carry the table upstairs. We will only move one piece slates up or down stairs under certain conditions and for an additional charge.
