Pool Table Moves
Dismantled, brought out through the gate and rebuilt level at the far end.

Pool table moving, installation and recovering across Albuquerque and the surrounding area.
At Albuquerque Pool Table Movers, we have found that the most integral part of buying new or used pool table is how well that it is put together. We have put together several thousands of pool tables over the years and have seen everything there is to see. Some of the tools that we use to ensure the highest level of quality include a machinist level for precise leveling, beeswax for filling in holes or seams, and composite wood shims that are more moisture resistant than traditional cedar shims. We proudly serve all of Albuquerque and the surrounding cities.
Here at Albuquerque Pool Table Movers, we specialize in all aspects of pool table service like pool table moves, pool table installations, and pool table recovers. Please call us or email us with any questions that you may have.
A slate table comes apart into a frame, a bed in sections and a set of rails, and around here most of those pieces never see a staircase. The housing is single storey, flat roofed and sitting on a slab, so the hard part is not going up. It is getting into the lot at all.
A walled courtyard with one gate is the standard arrangement, and the gate is nearly always narrower than the front door it leads to. A bed section goes through sideways or it does not go through, and a gate post set in concrete does not move for anybody. The width at the gate, and whether it opens fully back against the wall, are the two most useful things you can measure before asking for a price.
The dry air is the quiet factor. Slate does not care, but frame timber and cloth both do, and a table that has stood for years in this climate can have joints that have shrunk away from their bolts. That is worth finding at the start of a visit rather than at the end of one.
Moving if the table is changing address, installation if it is staying put, recovering if the cloth has had enough.
Dismantled, brought out through the gate and rebuilt level at the far end.
Put together, packed true and clothed where it already stands.
Worn cloth off bed and rails, new cloth on, slate checked while it is open.
Three inputs set the price. The table: size, and one slab of slate or three. The route: the gate and its width, the doorways, any step or flight at all, and the walk from the gate to where a vehicle can stand. The room: where it lands and what the floor does underneath it.
A slab is a steady floor and it still gets packed out, because a slab is poured to drain rather than to play billiards on. The shimming is the job.
If the gate rules out the table you have in mind, that is much better known at the quote than discovered with a bed section leaning against a courtyard wall.
